This is a "Flower Island" hotel invested and constructed by Shanghai Urban Investment Group, located in the middle of Chongming Ecological Island, with a unique Jiangnan charm. It is also one of the important service facilities of the 10th China Flower Expo. The hotel conference center has a total area of 2,000 square meters of conference and banquet space, including a 1,000-square-meter pillar-less extra-large banquet hall that can be flexibly divided and two multi-functional conference rooms. The focus of reception is to host important large-scale theatrical performances, closing ceremonies and forum activities during the Flower Expo.
Avim Hunan Branch brought Peavey to Chongming Ecological Island, which is known as the "Gateway to the Yangtze River and Yingzhou in the East China Sea". It was honored to serve as the grand banquet hall, VIP room, multi-functional hall and conference room of Baodao Forest (Hengshan) Hotel. The grand banquet hall on the first floor has a column-free space of 1,000 square meters. The space can be divided into three and the sizes can be freely combined.
Here, the sound amplification method adopts "line array + ceiling", which can meet the sound requirements required for holding various activities in the banquet hall. Among them, the line array main amplifier + ultra-low auxiliary combination. The line array main amplifier uses 12 MS212 line array speakers, which are divided into two groups to be superimposed and hung on the left and right sides of the LED screen; the ultra-low auxiliary speakers use 2 MS218B, which are placed on the floor. Place it below the main amplifier of the line array.
In order to enhance the sound richness of the entire banquet hall, 24 PHR 860II ceiling speakers were evenly installed on the ceiling. In addition, considering the need for live speeches, two TP12M monitor speakers were placed on the stage so that the speakers on the stage could get real-time sound feedback. The power amplifiers use DA series, DT series and IPR™2 series, and are equipped with two VSX8080D digital audio processors and one AUREUS 28 digital mixer, bringing a simple and flexible audio processing experience. An additional M -350 professional effectors make the sound effects of the banquet hall even better.
First floor VIP room
The VIP room uses ceiling speakers for sound amplification. According to the size of the room, four PHR 630II ceiling speakers were installed on the ceiling; the power amplifier was configured with the IPR™2 series, which has patented DDT™ distortion detection technology to promote and protect the normal operation of the speakers; each was equipped with one A VSX48E audio processor and a PV® 14 BT mixer can easily control the sound effects of the entire sound reinforcement system; plus a Feedback Ferret® II feedback suppressor to retrieve and eliminate feedback.
Multifunctional hall on the second floor of Building 2
The multi-function hall also adopts the "line array + ceiling" sound reinforcement method, using 8 MS208 line array main speakers and 2 MS118B subwoofers. In addition, eight PHR 860II ceiling speakers were installed to fill the room with sound. The amplifiers driving the speakers use DA series and IPR™2 series respectively. A VSX8080D digital audio processor is added to handle audio processing and signal distribution. The FX™2 16 mixer provides a variety of sound effects. The M-350 effector enhances the sound effects and fully Meet the sound needs of daily meetings here. Then, a wireless hand-in-hand conference system was equipped, including MT600WZ conference host, MT680WC chairman unit and 11 MT680WD representative units, forming a conference speech system in the multi-functional hall.
Small multi-functional hall on the first floor
The small multi-functional hall on the first floor uses ceiling speakers for sound amplification. 8 PHR 860II ceiling speakers are embedded and installed on the ceiling. Its masks use a magnetic installation structure, which is easy to install and integrated with the building, making it more beautiful. It is equipped with 2 IPR™2 700 amplifiers to drive the speakers to produce sound. A VSX48E digital audio processor is used for core processing, an FX™2 16 mixer and an M-350 effector are used for sound effects processing.

Small conference room on the second floorThe large conference room and small conference room on the second floor both use ceiling speakers for sound amplification. Depending on the size of the room, 8 PHR 630II ceiling speakers are installed in the large conference room, while 4 are installed in the small conference room. The PHR series adopts a variable angle tweeter design, which can better radiate the sound field. Both conference rooms use IPR™2 700 amplifiers to drive speakers and PV® 14 BT mixers to provide sound effects. In the large conference room, a VSX8080D digital audio processor is also added for core processing, a Feedback Ferret® II feedback suppressor retrieves and eliminates feedback, and a supporting wireless hand-in-hand conference system, including the MT600WZ conference host, MT680WC chairman unit and 25 MT680WD representative unit to meet the needs of conference speeches.
After many on-site debuggings, the audio amplification systems in the hotel's six halls have been officially put into use, and contributed significantly to the success of the 10th China Flower Expo. The integration of Peavey makes the sound texture more delicate, and the efficiency and flexibility of use are also improved simultaneously. I believe it will continue to add luster to the hotel's future activities!
